Future Energy is proud to become a certified installer of Tesla Powerwall battery!

Be ahead of the sustainable energy solutions game with Tesla Powerwall. Future Energy has recently been announced as one of three certified installers of the Tesla Powerwall solar power battery.

Tesla Powerwall stores your solar power so you can utilise solar power day and night, removing the reliance on the grid. Whether you’re lacking in sunlight or there is a power outage, have peace of mind your home will be powered efficiently. Install Powerwall as a sole Tesla product or combine its effectiveness with additional sustainable energy solutions to further optimise reducing your power bill and carbon footprint.

The Powerwall can hold 13kWh of power, which equates to approximately half of the average American household’s daily power consumption. With NZ homes being significantly smaller, you can imagine this will cover much more than half of your daily usage. And with one full charge, the Tesla Powerwall can cover the essentials of your home, such as your fridge, internet, as well as a small number of outlets and lights for 24 hours.

The Tesla app allows you to monitor your power consumption in real time. Depending on your preferences, you can adjust the settings to suit your home’s priorities, giving unparalleled insight and control. Through this app, you can pick between three of Powerwall’s settings: BackupPower, Time-Based Control and Solar Self-Consumption.

The Backup Power setting essentially is self explanatory - this mode acts as your urgent backup in times there is an outage on the grid.

Time-Based Control is beneficial for those with a Time-of-Use rate, during times of the day when electricity costs more. With this mode, your solar power battery will charge only when power is at the cheapest price, ensuring you are spending as little as possible.

Solar Self-Consumption mode simply refers to powering your house with stored solar power when the sun is no longer out. In this manner, you can say goodbye to purchasing extra solar power off the grid at higher costs.

Tesla is renowned for its sleek design, and Powerwall reinforces this. The minimalist design will only add to your home, regardless of your personal style. Choose whether you install the unit inside or outside.
